EARTH EXCLUSIVE FIRST OFFICIAL HOTPICK

Earth Exclusive is finally releasing its first official hot picks after we had assessed and deliberated who among the 42 delegates are fighting their chance of being the next ambassadress of environmental protection in the Philippines. For our first hot pick, we prioritize the Figure and Form and added some points from other pre-pageant activities. It is to note that Figure and Form is one of the official pre-judging activity of Miss Philippines Earth 2018 and some pre-pageant activity has no bearing. Aside from that, we had interacted with the girls and we also include their personality and how passionate, dedicated and serious they are because we believe that the next Miss Philippines Earth 2018 must be a holistic individual.

Topping our first hot pick is Miss Cebu City Marla Alforque, a pageant veteran who won Reyna ng Aliwan 2017. She didn't disappoint her fans when she bagged two gold medals for the Resorts Wear Competition in Laus Convention Center, San Fernando, Pampanga and the Trash to Class competition. She came very prepared and is the girl to beat at this early stage of the competition. Aside from that she is also very active in her daily eco-warrior activity and is very serious about winning the coveted environmental beauty event in the Philippines.

Second on our list is from the Filipino international community, Miss Rome, Italy. Silvia Celeste Cortesi is ethereal, she is not on anybody's radar until she won silver at the Resorts Wear Competition in Pampanga. She will surely rock the upcoming pre-pageant activities, especially the no make-up round as she possesses one of the best faces of this batch of earth warriors.

Third on our list is Miss Tacloban City, Gabrielle Camille Basiano. She is a towering figure in this batch and had a modelesque aura, a favorite of some sponsor awards and had won bronze at the Resorts Wear Competition in Laus Convention Center, San Fernando, Pampanga. On a sea of beautiful ladies, she easily stood out and is ahead of her game.

Fourth on our list is Miss Dinalupihan, Bataan, Lea Macapagal. She is one of the familiar faces of the competition being a budding artist of GMA Network waiting for her break and Miss Philippines Earth could propel her to stardom. She is one of the hyped candidates and is working very hard to prove her worth. She posses a pretty and charismatic face, she needs to interact well and hone more her environmental advocacy and everything is already perfect.

Coming fifth is Brazzirie Yanson of the Filipino community of Vienna, Austria. Her styling and aura reminisce us of Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Gabrena Ong who coincidentally won in Vienna, Austria. She is also a familiar face as she is one of the finalists of Miss Earth Austria 2015 and ended up in top 8. She came prepared and is working hard for her dream of being the next Miss Philippines Earth 2018.

Sixth on our list is one of the youngest delegates of this batch, Leandrea Gabrielle Batingan of San Jose Del Monte City. She seems quiet in some activities but when she needs to step up her game, she gives her best and easily stood out proving that age is not a barrier on achieving your dream. She has this bubbly persona that you will surely like and looks very natural off-cam and on-cam.

Lately, Misamis Oriental is a strong sash at Miss Philippines Earth and this year they are fielding Berjayneth Chee of Balingasag who is ranked seventh on our hot pick.  You can not surely miss her as she can capture you through her smile. She has a strong presence and registers well on cameras.

One of the early favorites, Jean de Jesus of San Rafael, Bulacan occupied our eight spot. She has this lovable aura that people will surely like. She is a very determined individual, she was bullied before for being fat and she works very hard to have that fab body. She is this kind of girl who will not just sit and do nothing, she always works hard, do her homework and have a gameplan on winning the coveted Miss Philippines Earth 2018 crown.

From the Land of Beauty and Bounty, Cindy Lynn Clapano of Bacolod, Lanao del Norte ranked 9th on our list. She is the most underrated girl in the competition and is not on anybody's radar that is worthy to be put in the spotlight. She is one of the girls who have the best figure and form during the pre-judging.  We can see that she is a fighter, a hardworking girl and she will surely give her best, especially on the intelligence round of the competition. She never shies herself being a 4P's scholar and despite all the hurdles she is facing in the competition right now, she never gives up. She had a strong personality and we see a Karen Ibasco winning vibes on her, silent yet deadly.

Marra Cristy Dianne Silvosa of Cateel, Davao Oriental occupies our tenth spot. She came very prepared, had a strong support from her community and is an active presence online and has one of the biggest followers and likers on social media that could be used to her advantage. She is a stunner and one of the delegates that you could easily like especially that first impression last. Right now, we want to see how serious she is to walk the talk and how she further her advocacy because she has a huge potential to be the next Miss Philippines Earth 2018.

Our eleventh spot is a surprise because we ranked her low despite being a complete package. Zahra Bianca Saldua of Las Pinas is a well-rounded individual, she is one of the standouts of the competition and has one of the biggest fan base being a pageant veteran and alumna of Miss World Philippines 2013 who placed second princess to Megan Young. She is the girl to watch out for aside from Cebu's Marla Alforque, the two of them could either end as the top two in the end. She just needs to level up her game and use her communication skills as an asset, she talks very well and its very structured, unlike others who kept using vague and flowery words. She know's really well what she's up to, her ranking may rise in coming weeks and she might surprise us again and occupy the top spot.

Mindanao has fielded the most number of delegates in any major beauty event to date. That's why it's no surprise for us to see a lot of deserving girls from the south and among them is Joanna Krystel Cabrezos of Asia's Latin city, Zamboanga City. This Certified Public Accountant values education so much and is a consistent honor student during her studies. She is a woman of courage and confidence and she wants to utilize it on her dream of being the next Miss Philippines earth 2018.

The free-spirited woman from Dumaguete City occupies our thirteenth spot. She is Nathalie Louise Roxas and she is giving us good vibes. She always values every simple thing and has a healthy disposition in life. She is a force to reckon in coming weeks.

The black barbie who represents Titay, Zamboanga Sibugay is occupying our fourteenth spot. Halimatu Yushawu who is half-Ghanian had been a subject of bullying and she used this as a motivation to be better. She seems very promising but her problem is sometimes, she is fading and she needs to work this out. If she will be very consistent then she is one of the delegates to watch out for.

The Visayas region has a strong batch and Janeen Geroso of Iloilo City who occupies our fifteenth spot is giving her fellow regional delegates a good fight. She may not have that strong storyline as others but she really stands out. She is just calm and relaxed and seems to enjoy the competition.

Last on our list who occupied the sixteenth spot is Joana Cristine Dalangin of Lipa City. She is one of the strong girls from Luzon region whose potential was not yet seen by others. This registered Pharmacist who advocates zero waste lifestyle is one of the girls to watch out for, she may not be hyped as others but she might surprise us all in the coming finals.

All other girls are giving their best and in the end, what matters most is that how serious they are with their environmental advocacy and how ready they are to take the challenge of protecting our Mother Earth. Others may bloom early and others may bloom late, and our picks could change depending on how serious, passionate and dedicated they are to be the next Miss Philippines Earth 2018.
